It is preferred to install the indoor part of heat pump on an exterior facing wall, due to the required pipes which connect the indoor and outdoor units. It is also possible to install them on internal walls, however some additional building works may be required.
The outdoor unit can be situated on the ground, or alternatively can be hung on wall brackets. An outdoor location with plenty of air flow is required for maximum efficiency of your heat pump.
Whilst the heat pump is being installed, our master electrician will also come to site and connect up the required power supply and wiring. A weather proof power switch will also be installed where the outdoor unit is situated, and a new circuit breaker installed where necessary. An electrical certificate of compliance is also available if you require one.
Our installation price starts from just $600 for a standard "back to back" installation, plus $350 for the required electrical parts and connections.
